VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE is an adult comedy revolving around the rivalries of three 50ish siblings (Vania, Sonia, Masha). It is set in their Bucks County home with plenty of Pennsylvania home grown humor. The cast of major supporting characters is Spike, the narcissistic boy toy of Masha – Nina, the girl next door and wanna-be star, and Cassandra, the housekeeper and psychic. The outrageous situations involving a costume ball, a Snow White voodoo doll, and a reverse strip tease lead to endless comic possibilities. The issues between the three siblings also lead to some poignant moments and Vanya delivers one of the best contemporary monologues of this century.
VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE is directed by Hal Holzer with producer Denise Wisneski. This established team has a dream cast of talented actors – Bryan McVeigh, Barbara Burri, Julie May, Ryan Henzes, Lauren Kirchner, Abby Gould, and Lisa Gazzillo.
Reservations are now open – this off-beat comedy is sure to please.
